Leffe Brown’s soft, deep brown colour and the perfect balance between a discreetly bitter yet slightly caramelised taste can be ascribed to age-old traditions. Hints of coffee and chocolate provide this beer with an even more desirable flavour. Served in a Leffe chalice, the smooth, creamy beer head, the roasted aromas and the spiced avour have the ability to suspend time.

Belgo Session IPA is a low alcohol but a full IPA taste beer. Using 5 different hops to create a tropical and citrus fruit taste, combined with a typical Belgian malt sweetness to optimise and round the bitterness, this American classic embraces the Belgian way.

This scintillating golden ale boasts a rich, fruity, and fresh aroma. And a light malty and sweet taste. It has a soft bitterness with a friendly aftertaste. A well-balanced blend of complexity and simplicity.

Quadrupel is La Trappe’s heaviest ale with a stunning amber colour. Its warm and intense flavour is rich and finely balanced. Malty sweet, slightly burnt, and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. Quadrupel offers aromas of banana, almond, vanilla and others.

Tennessee, USA - Blended

County Cork, Ireland - Blended

The bouquet features charred paper smells of toasted walnuts, roasted chestnuts, paraffin, cardboard, parchment, dry grain and herbs. Entry is grainy sweet and moderately oily; the midpalate stage is loaded with grainy breakfast cereal flavors and, at times, even comes o like oatmeal. Ends well on an oily, satiny note.

County Offaly, Ireland - Blended

Lovely scents of sweet grains, sugared breakfast cereal and pine make for pleasing sniffing. Entry is nimble, gently sweet, almost piney and honeyed; the midpalate stage carries on with style and smoothness, as the taste profile remains steadfast and mildly sweet. Finishes with a honey thrust that’s exhilarating and delightful.

Kentucky, USA - Bourbon

The base aroma is buttered corn-on-the-cob with aeration bringing additional scents of vanilla and cinnamon. The palate entry showcases sweet breakfast cereal grain; at midpalate the corn dominates so thoroughly that you know that this could only be one of the best straight bourbons from Kentucky. Ends spirity and heated.

Speyside, Scotland - Blended

Monkey Shoulder Scotch is a superb blended malt whisky, made with single malts from three famous Spey- side distilleries. The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice. Enjoy mouthwatering butterscotch and juicy orange, balanced by oaky tannins into the finish.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is carefully matured in the finest American bourbon and Spanish sherry oak casks for at least 12 years, after which it is mellowed in oak marrying tuns for a complete harmony in aroma and flavor. Lush and rich, this honeyed whisky is loaded with dense notes of creamy custard and tropical fruit, finishing with a flourish of baking spice.

Speyside, Scotland - Single Malt

Amber and bright in the glass, this 18-year-old blended whisky melds vanilla, cigar wrapper and chamomile tea notes with nutmeg and cinnamon spice, plus a delicate pu of sweet smoke. Feels light and silky, nishes long and gently.

It opens on bracken and bluebells then its warm crisp peat, dried barley with the smokiness drifting sensuously from the glass, shadowed by a salt sea breeze. Its feisty, its fresh it’s smokey, sweet, minty, and marine.

Speyside, Scotland - Single Malt

Baked yellow fruits (banana, pear, quince) and round, lightly toasted scents of malt in the aroma. Palate entry offers clean, crisp tastes of dry breakfast cereal and lightly toasted barley malt; by midpalate, the dry to off-dry flavor profile includes oak-induced vanilla, light toffee, and nougat. Ends on a woody note.

Sweet, mild, clean fragrance of lemon, juniper and licorice. This is a complex gin; more flavors can be detected with each sip: cinnamon spice, astringent pine needles, a touch of lime zest and, finally, a big licorice finish comes singing through. Slightly oily feel.

A London Dry Gin made with botanicals from along the traditional spice route that led back to the UK. Indonesian Cubeb berries, Indian black pepper and Moroccan coriander are all used in this gin. Though relatively neutral on the palate at first, the lingering finish whispers with cumin, coriander, black pepper, ginger and clove.

United Kingdom

A blend of single-malt and grain whiskeys, this has a relatively light, approachable profile. The aroma is bright, fresh and grassy, with hints of white peach and smoke. The palate shows subtle sweetness, layering peach, lemon and grapefruit peel with almond, oak and coconut, plus a mouthwatering, spicy ginger-cinnamon finish.

The Botanist

ABV The Botanist has a oral nose with a distinct sweet juniper hit. On the palate it is rich but mellow, perhaps even a little creamy and finishes with a zesty but gentle spice. There is a lot going on and overall oral notes balance out a clear juniper.

Faint caramel and creamy vanilla aromas. A soft entry leads to a round, dry medium-bodied palate with caramel, sugar cane, and peppery spice flavors. Finishes with a dash of toasted coconut shavings and pepper.

From this dark amber liquid wafts a luxurious aroma of toffee, marzipan, candied fruit and sarsparilla. On the sweeter side of the spectrum, this aged rum is gorgeous and mouth- filling, with caramel and a sprinkling of ginger and cinnamon reworks on the elongated finish.

Evan Williams Cherry Reserve combines the smoothness of Evan williams Bourbonwhiskey, with a sweet cherry taste. On the nose it has cherry and berry fruits with cinnamon spice. The taste is cherry and plum with a caramel and cherry pipe tobacco and mazipan on the finish.

The nosing passes find layers of aromas of honey, heather, pine needle, thyme and salty single malt Scotch whisky. Entry is thick, gently sweet but balanced by a fierce herbal quality; midpalate focuses on the whisky while the various herbs, spices and honey make merry around their whisky core.

Cointreau

Made in France with all-natural sweet and bitter orange peels, this crystal clear liqueur has a complex and well-balanced taste of fresh orange peels, and a very subtle whisper of mint leaf. Warming caramel develops later on.

Italy

Gozio is an amaretto from Brescia in northern Italy. Made with fruits from four continents, bitter almonds and burnt sugar, this is a classic example of the famous liqueur. Multilayered aromas of mildly bitter almond meat and spice. Palate entry is delicate and lightly sweet, showcasing the almond. Aftertaste is long, creamy and sublime.

Kahlúa

World-renowned Baileys is a natural marriage of fresh Irish dairy cream and Irish Whiskey. Fragrant and flavourful with fresh coffee, hazelnut and chocolate notes; sweet, creamy and thick yet well-balanced by a smooth whiskey note for a smooth, lingering finish.

The full list of the 56 botanicals that go into making this complex liqueur is a closely guarded secret. This mysterious liquid is aged for up to a year in German oak barrels, before bottling. Expect some sweetness on the palate along with a myriad of flavours that include citrus, spice and a hint of bitterness.

France

This spirit is loaded with tropical fruit (pineapple and lychee) chased by robust caramel notes and waft of smoke. Leaning toward dessert-like flavors, this highlands Tequila veers close to añejo territory.

Maker’s Mark, Angostura Bitter, Sugar & Water

You cannot get more classic than a classic Old Fashioned. This humble concoction of four ingredients Maker’s Mark, sugar, bitters, and water is one of our favourites. The recipe appeared alongside the first-ever printed use of the word “cocktail” way back in 1806.

Five ingredients come together to create this creamy and frothy masterpiece whose history stretches back to the Lincoln administration. Few drinks in the cocktail canon are as quick to satisfy and endlessly mutable as the Whiskey Sour. We wouldn’t be House of Barbaard if we wouldn’t have improved the original recipe and added our twist; orange liqueur.

Our twist with Pandan Syrup and Chocolcate. This bitter-sweet and balanced drink is considered to be one of the most famous Italian cocktails. Invented in 1919 by Count Negroni who asked to add gin to his americano, in honour of hist last trip to London.

Based on the original Tom Collins, the name of this classic cocktail is actually based on a lame joke from 1874. We added in fresh locally-grown passion fruit to enhance the flavour.

According to a Gosling’s Rum tale, this spicy and refreshing drink was invented more than 100 years ago when members of Bermuda’s Royal Naval Officer’s Club added a splash of the local rum to their spicy homemade ginger beer. They described its ominous hue as “the color of a cloud only a fool or dead man would sail under.”

This well developed, versatile Chilean red is fruity and earthy in the nose. Very smooth and balance in the palate. It had subtle hints of blue berries, good legs and level of tannins.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere - Maipo Valley, Chile

Spice and heat rise from the bouquet of this 14.5% heavyweight. Talk about ripeness taken to the limits; this wine is saturated to the core, with weighty dark-fruit flavors and medicinal, brown sugar notes on the finish.

Aromas of dried black fruit, spice, tobacco and leather lead the nose on this vibrant, medi- um-bodied red. The savory palate delivers spiced plum, juicy blackberry, black pepper and a licorice accent alongside velvety tannins.

Very dark ruby colour. Cedar, pencil and cassis nose. Classic Médoc palate with leather, pen- cil, cassis and an umami black cherry FInish. Incredibly well balanced.

Ruby red in colour with a lightly coloured rim, aromas of ripe cassis, smoke, earth, leather, perfume and Cuban tobacco. Fully ripe with a silky mouthfeel, elegantly structured with an earthy finish.

Pale yellow with bright reflections. Delicate aromas of white fruit (pear, apple) and light tropical notes. The palate is complex but soft and fresh, with good structure and balance.
